So Still trying to "auto-configure" my yahoo.fr account. After some time the process halts and tells me to enter values : for which I do
pop standard port - pop.mail.yahoo.fr and smtp standard port smtp.mail.yahoo.fr then I press the Go button and Tb tries to secure my configuration and I get prompted for a certificate. I have on personnal certificate installed in my profile.
This is extremely confusing - see attached screenshot are we missing a equifax root certificate ?)

this might be related to the issues described in bug 437683 and similar bugs.

True but I doubt Yahoo requires a Cert/SSL - if they did they would provide one.

those bugs don't have to do with requiring a cert, per se.
We prefer SSL over not, so it's us that's picking/trying SSL.
