User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042315 Firefox/3.0.10 Ubiquity/0.1.4
Build Identifier: prism-0.9.en-US.mac.dmg & Prism for Firefox 1.0b1
I downloaded and installed the stand-alone application Prism so I could place an icon for Yahoo Mail in the Dock. When I filled out the stand-alone Prism Preferences and clicked OK, I got this message: "Sorry, the all-new Yahoo! Mail does not
support your browser. You can either download a compatible browser or proceed to Yahoo! Mail
Classic."
Second attempt: I installed Firefox Prism extension hoping to do the same thing, place a
Yahoo Mail icon in the Dock to notify me when new mail arrives. However, when I opened the Addons pane to adjust my Prism preferences, the Pref button was grayed out so I couldn't do anything with it.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Prism
2. Attempt to set Preferences
Actual Results:
Yahoo Mail says it can't accept browser for stand-alone application and Pref button is grayed out for FF Prism extension
Expected Results:
Expect stand-alone Prism application and/or Firefox Prism extension to manage Yahoo Mail from Dock icon, including notifying me of new mail
