Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; m18) Gecko/20000814 BuildID: 20000081404 In Internet Explorer, type a name in the address bar, press Ctrl+Enter (instead of just Enter), and it will automatically append the "http://www." and ".com" bits at the start and end. Mozilla dosn't do that. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Type something in the location bar. 2. Press Ctrl+Enter Actual Results: Nothing. Didn't even go anywhere or search for anything. Expected Results: Append "http://www." and ".com" and go to the site.
This is true, but if you type a word in the location bar, it will take you to http://www.[word].com, unless [word] is a keyword. I believe that the Ctrl+Enter option isn't necessary as long as this feature is in. Also, I know this doesn't belong in Browser-General, so someone please change the component!
this is a duplicate. I will try to find the original.
