Java applets crash Firefox 3.0.11 on Mac OS X 10.6 (10A354, the latest seed).
100% reproducible crash on this page:
http://browserspy.dk/java.php
We don't know when 10.6 will be released but it may be before our next schedule Firefox security/stability update in July. As soon as it is released the reality is that a lot of people are going to install Firefox 3.0.x whether or not we claim to support 10.6. We may want to consider taking the latest JEP in Firefox 3.0.11 to avoid this major source of crashes.

I talked this out with beltzner and we're not going to respin 3.0.11 to take a new JEP. If that means we have to spin a quick 3.0.12 with a new JEP because 3.5 isn't released before 10.6 comes out, we'll make that call later.
If 3.5 *is* released when 10.6 comes out, we'll just say 3.0.x isn't supported until 3.0.12 and 3.5 is support on 10.6.

Sounds good. Just wanted to make sure that this potential problem was properly considered.

This was fixed on 1.9.0.12 by the landing of bug 493629 (and later landing of bug 496187). Since this bug is 1.9.0-only, resolving as FIXED as well.

Fixed this in 1.9.0.12, so we should fix it in 1.9.1.1.

Actually, I take that back. This was fixed in 1.9.1 because we took JEP 0.9.7.1 there.
