I wanted to add a new filter that would move a message to a given folder when its sender is in one of my address list (of the address book, I'm not talking about a mailing list).

There is not such option so I ended up duplicating all the contents of the address list by extension, in terms of rules, which is way more complicated (I had only 10 of them, but it's already difficult), plus the autocompletion of the address list make it really easy to filter for a set of Senders.

Alternatively, there might be an option to filter on a explicit Set of Senders, but that's just simplifying the UI to list them by extension, with autocompletion ? Not sure it's better since we can already add multiple rules for that.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the Message Filter dialog and add a Rule using the Sender
2. There is no option to filter on a given address list of the addressbook
3.
Actual Results:  
There is no such option

Expected Results:  
The option or a functional equivalent one would be there

Isn't this just the existing From Is In The Addressbook search criteria? I'm pretty sure this already exists, unless I am missing somethig.

To precise the feature, I'm not interested in filtering from a specific Addressbook but from a specific address list.
