It has been requested that we run unit tests on older machines which don't have SSE2. This machine "Dell Dimension XPSR450 - Serial UKK55" is in the QA Lab E-Cycling collection and would be perfect. Can it be transferred to RE and have Linux installed on it?
John, is there any IT action on this? Can you install CentOS?
i have installed an os and it is now in the server room. the only thing that hasn't been done is the transfer of the machine from QA to Releng on paper. Is that something IT needs to do?
There is no such process that I'm aware of. Consider it transferred! Sean, can you asset tag it and toss it into inventory?
