User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1)
Build Identifier:
When I boot the system thunderbird.exe will open multiple times (250 before I shutdown again) crashing the system. This initially started with Shredder auto updates this week. I waited until a new version released and again, the same problem. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled from the Thunderbird website. The first open was successful but after the first send/receive the program started multiple openings again. I had to uninstall completely.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install program.
2. Boot computer.
3.
Actual Results:
The program was launching multiple times when the computer was booted. It did not require a manual opening of the program.
It should only open once, and only on demand.

can you specify the day it started happening?
is thunderbird in your startup folder?
(I'm surprised the version wasn't set to trunk - doing so)

I want to say that it started happening last Wednesday. The program was not in the startup folder.

But it's running/starting fine now?
What are you running, 3.0beta nightly builds?

After the third set of crashes in a few days I didn't reinstall. I've been using a different e-mail since .

so you stopped using shredder and went back to Thunderbird.exe?
or using an entirely different email program?
