Not all of the smart folders have a mouse right-click menu option 'Mark folder
read': for example top-level Local folders inbox located in Smart folders pane
does not have such an option. Is it a bug, or is it by design?
There is an old bug/RFE (405627): "Mark Folder Read" should be enabled for
saved searches. Is it related to my request?
Reproducible: Always

It might be both. What are the smart folders that have the option ?

Yes they sound very similar - if you feel like it we could resolve this issue as a duplicate of 405627 - some issues (even when old) are still valid.

Top level folders do not have "Mark Folder Read" context menu item, all the subfolders do have. Just an example (take a look at the screenshot: http://www.rugby-forum.ru/temp/sf.jpg): main Inbox folder does not have such an option. All the subfolders do have.
