This bug is going to be a running list of modules that we'd like removed from QMO because they're unused. We've got to be VERY CAREFUL about what modules affect others. So, nominate away.

You should probably CC the entire QA team :)

I'm especially interested in the "wysiwyg API" module, although Image Import and Subscription Notification (as well as some other modules that require cron) would also be good to discuss. This bug should help bug 499361 (the Bugzilla Dashboard module).

Currently, cron is being overloaded by many modules. Tomcat knows, he got email spam :)

I'm not a fan of the Image and Subscription module blocks, but I'm new to this.

I'll try to look at the code. Because of bug 503227, I'm really only interested in disabling unnecessary cron-using modules.

Per triage session, we're not sure what is being touched with certain modules for the time being. Removing modules without some time for a deep dive is dangerous, so we're closing as wontfix for the time being.

In link http://quality.mozilla.org/admin/build/modules , the subscription module doesn't touch much of anything of importance that can't be replaced with another module, right?

Right. We should be discussing the subscriptions module in bug 506791, however.
