Relating to the new indexing / syncronization mechanisms in TB3, setting mail.check_all_imap_folders_for_new will get focused again for business purposals. Therefore I request getting this option "clickable" to the preferences menu.
the "why":
e.g Groupware users having shared folders in IMAP may want to get informed of new mails in these folders without enabling "check this folder for new messages" in each folder properties (regard IMAPs with shared folders usally have many sub folders so this "workaround" for normal users is impracticable.)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1) go to preferences
2) open Advanced > Network and Disk Space
3) <missing option>
Expected Results:
mail.check_all_imap_folders_for_new should be "clickable" on Adv.General or Adv.Network tab in preferences
Users should get warned that this option may improve index and search features all over their IMAP folders but may blow up the local disk space needed if "keep messages for this account" is enabled in account syncronization options!
