User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090616 Firefox/3.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090616 Firefox/3.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) When I've upgraded from Firefox 3 to Firefox 3.5, in download manager I saw Firefox Setup 3.5 RC 2.exe but with a folder icon. I downloaded some html files from the Mozilla Developer Central and the icons fot html files were ok. I downloaded some other exe files and they had the folder icon. Same thing with other files (mp4 video). The files I've downloaded before updating Firefox to 3.5 RC2 have regular icons like they should have. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Download an exe file (anywhere, for example a normal link) Actual Results: In download manager, the file's icon is a yellow Windows XP folder. It doesn't change after the file finishes downloading Expected Results: Show the "EXE icon" while downloading and change it into the program's icon after download finishes
READ THIS: It happens only when choosing to download a file. When you chose to open it, the icon in download manager is ok
Summary: File icons in download manager are a folder → File icons in download manager are a folder when chosen to download a file
