User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.11) Gecko/2009060215 Firefox/3.0.11 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.22 (20090605) Whenever Thunderbird updates itself it will fail saying that one or more components is in use. If I go to the Windows task manager and kill a process called quickcam.exe then Thunderbird will complete its install. I have encounter this problem in the last few updates. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Get an update for Thunderbird and tell it to wait for the next restart of Thunderbird 2. Restart Thunderbird. See status bar and get message 3. Go to XP's task manager and kill quickcam.exe (from Logitech) Expected Results: Thunderbird will complete its update
This last update updated the updater, so (in theory, at least) on the next update you won't have to kill it.
