Once Firefox has been launched, all link requests from other programs are opened properly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Quit Firefox. 2.Click on a web link in another program. 3. Actual Results: Firefox launches and stops at the home page (a file on my computer). Expected Results: Open the requested web link after launching Firefox like any other Mac application.

we had some reports in the past like bug 480733 nad bug 476675 but it seems to work for most people.

Doesn't work for me, and I've installed SnowLeopard on clean partitions on three machines and then Firefox. Every one exhibits this problem.
