Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5
When I have opened 2 windows with multiple tabs inside of each of them, working with window B, and at the same time window A is minimized.
When dragging a tab from window B to window A it just beeps and that it.
But if I'll click on window A on taskbar (make it active but in background) and then try to drag tab from window B -> window A it will happen successfully.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Minimize first window
2.Maximize second window and focus on some tab
3.Try to drag & drop this tab into first window
Actual Results:
Windows just beeps.
Expected Results:
Activate (maximize) window & drag&drop focused tab.
Default theme, observing from 3.0.x version.

Humm, yes. I see this on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090630 Minefield/3.6a1pre (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) ID:20090630044527. the window should pop up, and you can place the tab in it.
Version: unspecified → Trunk
I think this is a Windows issue. See bug 467962

A tab may be a special case of bug 274205. Let's keep this around.

I don't think this one can be fixed until Bug 274205 is fixed, but it does seem like there was some new regression introduced for tabs because you can't even drag a tab onto the taskbar with Nightly but you can with the FF5. It keeps the tab within the bounds of your screen not including taskbar.

I don't think this one can be fixed until Bug 274205 is fixed, but it does

FF5. It keeps the tab within the bounds of your screen not including
taskbar.
This doesn't seem to be true anymore (as in, you can drag to the taskbar just fine) but bug 274205 is still there. Duping this over.
