User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5 If I hold down the ALT key and press two letter keys simultaneously (e.g. B and V), two pulldown menus appear in Firefox 3.0 and 3.5. I have not been able to reproduce this with other Windows applications, having tried in Outlook and even Thunderbird. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Hold ALT. 2. Press B and V simultaneously. Actual Results: Both "Bookmarks" and "Tools" menus appear. Screen shot: http://jweill.fastmail.fm/two-firefox-menus.png Expected Results: Only one pulldown menu appears. This happens when any two letters are pushed simultaneously. For example, pressing B and T will open both the Bookmarks and Tools menus overlapping each other.
http://jweill.fastmail.fm/menu-triple.png A friend using Firefox 3.0 on Ubuntu Linux noticed the same problem, here demonstrated with three pull-down menus opened concurrently.
Correction to comment #0: As the screen shot shows, ALT+B+V makes both "Bookmarks" and "Views" visible, not "Bookmarks" and "Tools."
This is kinda dupe of bug 497696.
