By default there are 4 lines for addresses in the message compose windows. These lines are impossible to configure to show less, wasting a lot of usseless space.
Why not configure it to show only one and show all the directions in a line, separed by commas??.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Thunderbird
2.Compose a new message.

That issue seems to be mainly covered by bug 440377 and related reports.
