Since the update to FF 3.5.x some input boxes with started to appear very long breaking the corresponded website.

Can this be Bug 477564? Please retest with the latest trunk build if your problem is fixed: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla-central/ or test with the pref browser.sessionstore.privacy_level to 2: http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config
If one of those two options resolves your issue you can resolve this bug as a duplicate of Bug 477564.

Tried both (version 3.6e1pre) and sessionstore.privacy_level to 2.

The issue remains ...
