After doing a scan with Spybot and finding several nasties whihc I removed I then went to try to open Thunderbird and could not. I did as has been suggested in some reports and removed Thunderbird and reinstalled, as above but it will still not open. I am not very knowledgeable with computer - just sit down and use it and I don't know were to go from here. I have all my work files and addresses which I need to access. I have done daily back-ups so can recall them if I can get Thunderbird to open. PLEASE HELP

I'd recommend reinstalling into another empty folder.
