You first need to be in Windows, load the Windows version of Thunderbird, migrate to Thunderbird then copy the Thunderbird mail program to OpenSolaris/Linux. It would be preferrable to copy the outlook.pst file to OpenSolaris/Linux and import. Reproducible: Always
