The XP, Mac and Linux filepickers don't have file extensions follow the save as type/filter. That is not good. Filing this bug to keep track of things and to ultimately fix our usage of the filepicker API (if needed).

Works for me now in SM 2.7 under Win 7 64bit. Probably fixed with bug 509379.
Doesn't seem to work at least on linux.
