Something needs to be added to the window opening/closing code to dump information so that it can be learned exactly when the hang is happening. What seems to be happening here is that since bug 512296 was fixed the hang moved on to this test which still opens a new window. Bug 512296's patch can be done here as well, but it just seems to be a mask, not an actual fix. It's interesting that I couldn't find bug 512296 on 1.9.2...
