Firefox and TB are both missing the config options for specifying the CSS standard fantasy and cursive fonts on the font config page.
Ideally, Firefox should have at least those, but also allow for multiple font specifications/family so if a character is not found in the 1st font on the list, it checks the 2nd font, 3rd font...etc. until falling back to display Hexadecimal.
I have primary fonts that look good that don't have anywhere near complete coverage, but have secondary fonts that have large coverage (that don't look so great for every day use). I'd prefer at least 1 backup with a fallback to displaying the hex codes as I seem to get now.
(Going to file this under Tbird as well, being a separate product, but they may be fixable by fixing the same root XUL code.
Reproducible: Always
