On startup (SeaMonkey debug trunk), I get the following error at the shell:

Chrome file doesn't exist: /home/kd/projekte/mozilla/mozilla.org/obj/sr/mozilla/dist/bin/extensions/{e2fda1a4-762b-4020-b5ad-a41df1933103}/chrome/calendar/skin/calendar/calendar-day-label-back-vertical.png

Querying MXR finds three references in calendar-views.css files, but no file of that name, so I assume Thunderbird will have the same problem.

It seems this image comes from bug 430382 but was not checked in. I tried to just add the image, but this doesn't seem to cause the wanted effect. See screenshot. Maybe someone else can find out why this happens?

WiP Patch - v1

That fixes it for me in a technical sense - I don't see the error and I can find the file on my HD - although I don't have any idea where that image should show up. ;-)
The image shows up in the day label when you are in day or week view and select view -> calendar -> current view -> rotate
I cannot find a reference to this at all in the source code.

Should there still be an option for rotation at all? I have it in the menu, but it does not work ...
This bug has been fixed by bug 698760, but the rotation should still be working. Could you file a new bug describing the errors you get?
