Hi guys,

My firefox everytime I log out of my gmail account. This problem started when I updated my firefox to 3.5.3.

I do NOT have firebug or greasemonkey installed as a addon. So this is not a firebug or greasemonkey related issue.

I was wondering if other gmail users are facing this problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.log in to gmail
2.check email
3.log out...and baaaam!!....firefox crashes
as simple as that.
Actual Results:  
I get a firefox crash report dialog box, which asks me to submit the crash report to Mozilla foundation.

Expected Results:  
well, the browser shouldn't crash..and i can then check my yahoo mail.

I think I missed the word 'crashes' in the first statement.

'My firefox _crashes_ everytime I log out of my gmail account. This problem started when I updated my firefox to 3.5.3.'

Thank you for providing the crash ID. this is quite likely bug 501429, however, please try disabling plugins such as googletalkplugin (if you have it)  and McAfee SiteAdvisor to see which is causing the crash. You can do this from Tools -> Add-Ons -> Plugins

Hi all,

I was able to stop firefox from crashing by disabling the google talk plugin.
I have set the status of this bug as 'Resolved' since it is a duplicate of bug 501429.
