If you are in print preview, and you open a new tab (Via a link in irc, etc) you can't close print preview mode.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open A website
2.File->Print Preview
3.Open a URL From IRC in new tab
4. Click "Close" button in preview window
Actual Results:  
Print Preview doesn't close

Expected Results:  
Print Preview closes

I was able to reproduce the problem.
This seems a bit concerning and non-expected.
I wonder how many people already noticed this.

If you prefer, we can dupe it to bug 409181, mentioned in bug 407098 comment 13, which is specifically about the unable-to-close issue.  

It's all the same root bug, though -- the Firefox UI messes up when Firefox tries to open tabs (via double-clicking a file, opening an IRC link, etc) during print-preview.  This breaks all kinds of things, including crashes and the close button not working, depending on what you do once the UI is broken.  I'd just as soon dupe bug 409181 to bug 407098.
