I was unable to delete a feed account with slow initialization due to account checks or gloda in background. Selected another account and then the former one again, now it worked.

Archaeopteryx, does this still occur, and can you elaborate/steps?

If I remember correct, choosing 'Settings' from the context menu for the account from the folder list opened the settings, but initialization of the window was very slow (adding numbers into boxes etc).
Haven't seen this again, works for me with 3.1.6 on Windows XP. I haven't tested this now with gloda indexing all mails.

WFM because work on TB 3.x (see comment #2) and TB 2 is no longer maintened.
