User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Bug 35689 adds a popup menu to the newsgroup field in the message header, allowing (among other things) the ability to subscribe to the newsgroup. However, there is no feedback for this action, so it's difficult to tell if anything happened. If the user clicks this accidentally, they might not realize until much later that they've subscribed to a new newsgroup. This bug is for discussing possibilities for providing feedback when subscribing to a newsgroup. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Subscribe to a newsgroup via the popup from the message header Actual Results: No user-visible feedback unless they're paying close attention to the folder pane. Expected Results: Some kind of visible feedback to let the user know what's up.
