Removing "director" from summary and marking shockwave as this is really a 
Shockwave bug; Director is the authoring tool that creates content played by the 
Shockwave plug-in. Nominating for rtm as well as already-tagged nsbeta3 as we 
want shockwave plug-in to work in RTM.

Shockwave plug-in support and support for Shockwave web content is high-profile 
backward compatibility. Increasing priority to P2, eligible for check-in with 
reviewer approval through 9/21. Andrei, do you have time to fix this by 9/21? If 
so, please accept as [nsbeta3+].

Nominating nsmac2. Would be bad to have Shockwave/Flash broken on the Mac.

Is bug 37126 related to this?

With patches to bug 49743 and bug 37126 (which activates the previous patch) 
applied, shockwave seem to sort of work. There still seems to be a minor 
painting problem with the above url which a forced repaint fixes. I am 
attempting to get the Shockwave test suite to verify.

I did try some shockwave pages and they seemed to work. But this was before 
Peter's last comment. I will again verify this with both trunk and branch bits 
when they come out. Erik, due to security reasons, I am unable to access the 
testcase suite on macromedia's ftp server. kiwi and I were coordinating this, 
but this hasn't worked out yet.

Sounds like this works well enough that we don't have to hold PR3 for it, so 
marking nsbeta3-. We already have an rtm nomination for any remaining work -- 
please explain what needs to be done for RTM.

I just checked in the the fix for bug 32327 into the trunk and branch and it 
should also affect this bug. Shockwave directory movies should play and not be 
blank. 

Can someone verify on another testcase?

I verified this with a few testcases. This look great. Verified on mac 
commercial branch build 2000092911. Marking fixed, I guess.
