User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.23) Gecko/20090825 SeaMonkey/1.1.18
Build Identifier:
When I view the cited home page, part of the page extends beyond the right edge of my browser window. There is no horizontal scroll bar to view the excess.
Yes, I can use navigation arrows on my keyboard to scroll horizontally. However, the lack of a scroll bar implies there is no need to scroll.
Reproducible: Always
This problem may be a symptom of designing the Mozilla.org site without considering alternate screen sizes and resolutions. I have my screen resolution set to 800x600 because my eyes are getting old. While I could set default font sizes larger, this will not work for all applications. In any case, a Web page that requires horizontal scrolling is poorly designed.
This problem might affect other pages in the Mozilla.org site.
