From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.2.14-5.0 i686; en-US; m18) Gecko/20000908
BuildID: 20000908
I use a program called ndsd (network dual-head software daemon)
to control my Linux machine from a mouse and keyboard connected to an SGI IRIX
machine. I don't think ndsd is available on Linux, but I believe it works in
the same way as other programs such as x2x.
If I select some text on my IRIX machine, then move the mouse over
to the Linux machine and try to middle-mouse paste the text into any
text area on Mozilla, it just acts as if there was no text to be pasted.
Nothing at all appears in console. If I select the text on the Linux machine,
then all works fine. This cross-machine cutting and pasting works perfectly
fine for all of my other applications (Netscape, shell windows, etc), so it's
definately Mozilla specific.

This is most likely bug 84973, which has been worked around somewhat by bug
55312 and bug 87207.
Can this be reproduced on a recent mozilla build (one that includes those two
work arounds)?

With a recent build, I do not see this problem, except when I try to paste
large chunks of text. In reading the bugs mentioned in comment 5, I believe
that this is a duplicate of those bugs.
