Bug 509044 for Thunderbird, and bug 428216 for SeaMonkey both implement an Icons beside Text mode for toolbars. It would be nice if this was built in to the default mozilla/toolkit/content/customizeToolbar stuff, and we could both get rid of our code.

Thanks,
Blake.

Reproducible: Always

TB3 is currently using mozilla-1.9.1, but as I understand it will be moving to 1.9.2 or 1.9.3 for the next release.

More precisely, we want the capability of enable text-beside-icons in our apps, even if firefox doesn't want it.

The current implementation in latest Thunderbird 3.0pre builds offers the "Icons besides text" option all windows, but the option only works in 3-pane-window. Adressbook and Write new mail windows fail to show the icons besides text.

I meant: _in_ all windows
