User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1.4pre) Gecko/20090915 Lightning/1.0pre Thunderbird/3.0b4
In the Thunderbird for OSX 3b4 standard view, I cannot grab the thumb to scroll the message list. When I hold the cursor over thumb and click, it responds as if I clicked in the scrollbar and pages down. This only seems to affect POP accounts as I have not been able to reproduce it in my gmail account.
If I delete or move an email out of the list, thereby forcing the scrollbar to "re-size?" the problem goes away until I navigate to another mailbox and back again. The problem usually reappears then, but not 100% of the time.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Establish a POP account with at least 100 or so messages
2. Try to scroll the message pane by grabbing the thumb and dragging
3.
Actual Results:
Message list jumps one page as if I had clicked in the scrollbar itself.
Expected Results:
I should be able to hold and move the thumb to scroll the list.

I should also note that "Message Pain" is active when this occurs. I can temporarily correct the problem by toggling the message pain.
