The New Card window, for adding email addresses to the Address Book, has no buttons at the bottom to OK and record the entry or to cancel it. If it makes any difference, I'm running Windows XP Home on an Asus Eee netbook PC, model 1005HA-P.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Launch Thunderbird.
2.Click on Address Book.
3.Click on New Card.
Actual Results:
New Card window opens, but there are no buttons to OK and record the entry, or to cancel the entry.
Expected Results:
See above.
An OK button should appear in the New Card window so the new email address can be recorded and saved in the Address Book.

Can you try if this happens also in safe-mode or is a theme related issue?

No need, I expect this is a screen resolution with 600 or less on the height, and therefore this is a duplicate of bug 63941 which has been fixed for Thunderbird 3.
