I'm on 3.6b1pre, but http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=861672 reports it happening on 3.5.3 as well. Both crashes are on Snow Leopard.

Looks like it is Snow Leopard specific. Does not happen on my 10.5 box.

Most likely an ATSUI regression in 10.6. I'm reluctant to enable CoreText on 1.9.1/1.9.2 though. Can we get a minimized testcase, report it to Apple, and come up with a way to work around it? John, can you take this?

Dupe. Apple bug in ATSUI code. Fixed in 10.6.2.
