faceted search returns as many as 16 instances of a single draft mail that I was working on yesterday.

STR:
- compose a msg
- while composing save it several times, probably wait some time between saving
- perhaps let more time pass with the saved draft still open

Actual:
- draft folder correctly shows 1 instance of the saved draft
- faceted search for first name of recipient returns 8 instances of the draft message (claimed to be in drafts folder) yesterday, and 16 instances today (though surely I haven't saved it manually that often, but perhaps autosave did the job?)
- saving the message manually again today does not seem to increase the no of instances, but perhaps gloda is just slow in noticing?

perhaps we are saving another instance of the same msg to draft folder / and/or gloda each time user saves the msg while composing?

Well Bug 516232 is fixed this might be another edge case of it though.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but this should really block:
- This bug will occur very frequently through regular usage, just by composing mail and autosave doing the job as it should (after 5 or 10 mins, which is the default?)
- Phantom draft mails are cluttering the search results
- extra confusion for the user because phantom drafts may contain stale message text that has not even been sent (and user starts to worry whether he sent the wrong thing, and has no way of checking since we don't show the folder in search results and there's no other way of checking a non-existing mail)
- clicking on such phantom drafts returns an empty preview in thread pane list view
-> all this will severely undermine the trust in faceted search and the product in general

Bottom line:
-> We should never ever show non-existing mails in search results. Period.

This sounds like a duplicate of bug 465618 (which is blocking) - effectively when we create new versions of drafts we create a new version of the draft then delete the old one. Hence fixing bug 465618 (which asuth is currently working on fixing).
