Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20091024 Shredder/3.1a1pre I've tried in the Terminal (Mac OS X) to open a compose window: /Applications/Shredder.app/Contents/MacOS/thunderbird-bin -compose "to=foo@nowhere.net" But instead of the compose window I've seen a crash and the Crash Reporter (submitted Crash Report). This works fine in TB3.0pre, I've only see the crash in TB3.1a1pre. I've also tested other command line options (-addressbook, -offline and so on), this works fine. I only get a crash if I use -compose.
No need to add new bugs to bug 470184 now that we have branched.

(In reply to comment #1) > No need to add new bugs to bug 470184 now that we have branched. OK (In reply to comment #2) > no stack? There is nothing in the Console about this crash. This was my first submited crash, so I first had to investigate how to find out the Crash ID. This is my crash report: http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/bp-d05f9a9c-efcb-4cc0-9898-3319a2091024 (In reply to comment #2) > (please file crash bugs with severity=crit) OK, will do this in any future crash bug :-)
If indeed we're still crashing, this would be a blocker. However, this is WFM at the moment. Please re-open if you still see it, Gary.
