User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; GTB6; InfoPath.1; AskTB5.3) Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.23 (20090812) I cannot find a message that I read/open and close. E.g., when I close Thunderbird at the end of the day and open it the next day, I cannot find any of the messages I previously opened without using the Search Messages function. However, when I find them and try opening them through Search Messages, I get a blank window. Why am I not able to view previously read/opened messages I keep? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. I open Thunderbird and login. 2. I look for previously viewed messages and cannot find them. 3. I highlight my Inbox, click Search, and find the message, click Open and get a blank window. Actual Results: My previously viewed messages can be found through Search Messages only. I cannot find them by date. Expected Results: I expect to be able to find previously viewed messages in my Inbox without looking for them through the Search Messages function.
You might have to rebuild you indexes - click on the folder - select property and click rebuild. How big are your mailboxes files ?
