With Thunderbird 3.0b4, a bug appeared after a few hours of use:
The Junk Smart Foldernormally has each account's Junk folder in its subfolders
Now in its subfolders, some of my mail accounts appear!
It looks like this
[-]Junk
[-]mailadress1@mail.com (this one is correct, it's the junk folder from the account)
[-]mailadress2@mail.com (this is the account with all its subfolders!!!)
[-]inbox
[-]drafts
[-]sent
[-]archives
[-]etc...
So the account appears, and not only its Junk folder.
Also, in some menus where I have to select folders from an account, the accounts that have the problem (appearing in the Junk Smart Folder) have a Junk icon for the account itself. Like if the whole account was listed as Junk.
This happened since I installed 3.0b4, and it uses the same profile as my TB 2.0 that still exists on the system. When I run 2.0 and enter a menu where I have to select folders (like on second picture) the accound is also listed as junk like in 3.0b4.
Any ideas?

Edit: re-tried a few times on a clean install (no existing profile)
Once I add the second mail account (all IMAP), the first one gets messed up and is displayed in the Junk Smart Folder

Have you tried a recent 3.0 pre build? I can't remember if we fixed the root account junk issue in 3.0b4...

No, I'll try that.
Can I install it over my existing profile, or is it messed up now and I need a clean install? (since the acount also somewhat seems messed up when I open it in 2.0)
So far so good, with the latest-comm-1.9.1
But only with a clean install, over the existing profile the profile stays messed up

Bricolo sorry for the issue :-(. As it's fixed in recent nightly I'm going to resolve this bug as a dup. Ain't sure it's the proper bug ...

Bug 505949 is for problem of "Junk is not created".

DUPIng to Bug 520408.
bricolo, can you observe problem at Smart Folders after next?
1. Delete panecea.dat
2. Delete file named <server_name>.msf in ImapMail directory.
(<server_name> is directory to keep .msf files for IMAP folders)
3. Restart Tb
WADA: I installed the last 3.0 pre and followed your 1-2-3 instructions. My old database seems fixed
I remember trying that too, but with 3.0b4 and the problem was still there. So there's an improvement :)
