Visible caps between all images/Images misaligned

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Open some page which contains images inside complex tables

Actual results:
Images shown in wrong places and/or with incorrect paddings (for example there
is some space under the picture instead of another image without cap)

Expected results:
This depends on page - generally page should look better/easier to read/use.

Other URLs:
http://www.mil.fi/ (should be centered horisontally)
http://www.pedanet.jyu.fi/preview/ccepreview/ (In the left menu there are caps
between images and there is also some problems with "window title". Also on this
page background image in the upper left corner shifts next to foreground image
when page is enlarged)

This problem still occurs in the June 30th build (1999063008) Mac, Windows, and
Linux.
