Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux armv6l; it; rv; 1.9.2b2pre) Gecko/20091101 Firefox/3.6b2pre Fennec/1.0b5) (typed manually) 1 - Choose on your device any language (I tried with Spanish and French) 2 - Open fennec from the command line (X-Term) 3 - Go to settings and change to any other language (I switched to Italian and Spanish) 4 - Press the restart button that shows at the top 5 - The browser restarts but it stays with the same language that the device had (NOTE that what I typed on the first line actually changed to 'it' even though it kept on showing everything on French) Blocking beta5? How I installed it: - downloaded xulrunner and fennec deb to desktop - scped to device to root@IP - opened x-term and typed: - dpkg -i xulrunner...deb - dpkg -i fennec...deb

Yeah, that's because of the current behavior of the matchOS pref. I have a working patch for that : see bug 519468
Depends on: 519468
Shouldn't your bug be blocking beta 5?
(In reply to comment #2) > Shouldn't your bug be blocking beta 5? It is "unofficially" and we'll get it landed ASAP
