User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.4) Gecko/20091028 Ubuntu/9.10 (karmic) Firefox/3.5.4
Build Identifier: Weave 0.7
Upgraded Ubuntu to 9.10 (clean install).
Installed weave 0.7 on Firefox 3.5.4 and performed sync.
History was successfully imported. Forms also as much as I can tell so far.
Bookmarks and passwords were cleared from the Firefox profile and cannot get them to synch.
Have two other computers synchronizing to weave, one with windows 7 and another with XP-SP3 (both use weave 0.7 in Firefox 3.5.4). Both of them synch bookmarks and passwords between them. Only the new Ubuntu install has this issue.
Have tried resetting weave a number of times (on the Ubuntu machine) but with no success.
After resetting, a number of errors can be seen in the log, namely one for every bookmark that failed to be imported.
Subsequent synch requests do not produce any errors.
Ubuntu is dual booting with XP, but have different hostnames.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Setup weave to get data from the server in Ubuntu 9.10
2. Use "Sync Now" option
3.
Actual Results:
Default bookmarks and bookmarks from bookmarks bar were cleared from Firefox.
Bookmarks from server were not imported.
Passwords were also not imported. Opening a site that requires authentication did not auto-fill user and/or password, even after typing in username.
Expected Results:
Bookmarks should have been imported. Bookmarks bar should show the saved bookmarklets.
Passwords should have also been synched and available to use when authentication on a site is required.

Could you try with the 1.0b1 client that uses 1.0 server api instead of 0.5?
