Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.5; it; rv:1.9.1.4pre) Gecko/20090915 Thunderbird/3.0b4

When you attach two messages to a new email, then rename attachments (attach #1, attach #2,...), in the body of your email you can read attach #1 for every attachment.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a new message and attach two other message (from inbox).
2.Send this message to you.
3.Done.
Actual Results:
Thunderbird writes "attach #1, attach #1"

Expected Results:
"attach#1, attach #2"

This bug is very important, because "rename attachment" is a (new) very useful feature.
Version: unspecified → 3.0
federico is that a new issue , was it working differently in tb2 ?
Hi Ludovic,
TB2 cannot rename attachment :)
On my version of TB3 raneme attachment work's fine on files, but NOT if you attach a message from inbox, but I think any othet program folder.
Look at the jpeg... you can see the attachment with a name, but in the body the same attachment have a different one.
