(Whiteboard: [timeplot])
The timeplot graphs for addons (e.g. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/statistics/addon/16) only show their lines and fills in IE8 in Compatibility Mode, not IE8 Standards Mode (the default for AMO).

New stats pages are coming shortly and they are using highcharts.
