1. make sure mail.operate_on_msgs_in_collapsed_threads is set to True
2. make sure that mailnews.database.global.indexer.enabled is true
3. Select a Thread and other messages
4. Press S
According to the test the summary should show the new star - it does not

I retested in safe-mode and it doesn't work for me.

WFM here as well - anything on the console? There can be a bit of delay, especially if gloda is busy.
