We should have a page telling:

* how to craft the version number (matches /beta\d*$/)
* what happens when you upload a beta version
* prerequisites for having a beta channel (public add-on)
* how to move people from beta to the normal version (fake it)
* how to handle nightlies (DIY)

There is no such thing.

Nick says the wording is done and jbalogh is adding a button to the dev tools.  Nick, can you tell us where this wording is going?  If it's all on one page, what is the URL?

Works as advertised.  For people that don't have any beta versions uploaded it might be confusing if the box exists on their "manage versions" page.  Not a big deal though.

Added the button in r57010, but the "What's this?" is linking to #XXX.  Need to fix that when this page has a URL.
