User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; cs; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; cs; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091130 Thunderbird/3.0 RC2 I have security option set to use STARTTLS if available. Thunderbird 3 (regression from 2) always displays popup window if STARTTLS command is not supported by target server. This is kinda annoying because it happens for each connection to server, not just first. It would be best to ignore STARTTLS command failure as done in Thunderbird 2 and dont display annoying popups. Reproducible: Always
"STARTTLS if available" is not supported by Tb3 any more(not selectable at UI), although it's displayed if "STARTTLS if available" was set by Tb 2. If your server doesn't suport StartTLS, set None or SSL/TLS at "Connection security:", please.
Did that change work?
