Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091204 Lightning/1.0b1pre Thunderbird/3.0
In the inbox and an additional folder of the same email account (though neither in the other folder of that account nor in the inbox or folders of an other account), the list of messages - who are all grouped by sort (date) - is always uncollapsed.
If I collapse them and change folders, they are uncollapsed again.
In all the other folders Thunderbird remembers the status.
In the grouped folders view, if I select the inbox (which contains both the inboxes of my accounts), everything works just fine.
But if I select only the inbox of the first account, the error is back again.
It also doesn't help to ungroup, resort and regroup the folder.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
In the affected folders:
1. Sort by date
2. Group by sort
3. Uncollapse any or all of the groups
4. Change folder
5. Change back to the first folder
-> There it is!
Actual Results:
The groups are all uncollapsed again
Expected Results:
The groups which had been collapsed should have stayed collapsed

Does this happen in -safe-mode (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode) ?
Yes, it does.
What I forgot to mention: I normally use the portable version from portableapps.com, but I checked the normal version too, so that should make no difference.
