For some phrases using "Search all messages" (Ctrl+K) gives no message found result, despite there are messages with such a phrase that are found via Search Messages (Ctrl+Shift+F).

I tried to search (Ctrl+K) my e-mails for czech phrase "licenční poplatky" (which means "license fees") and nothing found, the same result for the word "licenční" and for the part of the word "lice". Only when I tried to search for "lic" some result were found.

When searching (Ctrl+Shift+F) my e-mails with "body contains" condition I always found some messages for the above mentioned phrases.

Pavel can you install https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/9873 and see if the mail you are searching for as a gloda ID ?

This also looks like a duplicate of bug 529824 - what do you think pavel ?

There are gloda IDs for mail I am searching.

I am not sure it is duplicate but at least it is very similar. Using "Search all messages" I can find some words with diacritics but some other word with diacritics are not found. In the same message I can find one word with diacritics but cannot find another word with diacritics.

What may be interesting, there is message with phrase "já posílám zadání" (means "I send task") so there are only two kinds of letters with diacritics "á" and "í". When searching for word "posílám" or "zadání" the message is found but is not found when searching for "já".

When I change phrase to "zadání posílám já" the message is not found when searching for "zadání" and is found when searching for "já" - so it looks like the first word in the phrases is ignored. But for the phrase "posílám já zadání" works searching for the word "posílám" and does not work searching for the word "já" and even searching for the word "já" gives as a result messages where this word actually isn't.

Bug 529824 fully explains the phenomenon described here and its fix should fix it.
