No scroll bars (vertical or horiz) in message pane and headings from subject etc run off the screen! Using 800X 600 preferably - can find rest of headers by changing screen res

does this happen in safe mode?
do you run lightning? If so, see bug 532618

I got the vert scroll by reducing and stretching dialogue box but now cannot adjust (make shorter) the last column - size field - please feel free to call with questions - 213-627-4066 -

if you do, with thunderbird down, please delete localstore.rdf and panacea.dat from your profile http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Thunderbird and report results
