User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; fr; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091204 Thunderbird/3.0 When I have a mail with a plain text attchment, I cannot open it : Thunderbird doesn't recognize the file type : the popup to choose the program to use doesn't recognize the file as plain text but as imap link. Therefore, depending on the program choosed, either I have an error message ("bad syntax" with windows notepad) or the program opens an empty window (notepad++, openoffice...) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a message with a plin text attachment 2 [review]. Double click on the attachment Actual Results: TB asks to choose a program (it doesn't suggest any) but this program cannot open the attachment Expected Results: The program should have opened the attachment If you choose the option "display the attachment in message", the attchment displays correctly. But the double-click still doesn't work. It seems to happen only with plain text (*.txt) attachment. It doesn't happens with *.csv, *.pdf, *.rtf ... I tried the nightly builds (thunderbird-3.0.1pre.en-US.win32.installer.exe and thunderbird-3.1a1pre.en-US.win32.installer.exe) but the bug is still there. If you save the attachment, you can open it easily.
